I am excited to be a part of the Field PTO executive board this year, and really look forward to working with these smart, talented ladies. My husband Andrew and I have three children; a freshman son at Maine South, a 6th grade daughter at Emerson, and a 3rd grade son here at Field. We have lived in Park Ridge for 9 years, and have been a part of the Field Community for just as long. I have enjoyed being involved with the PTO since we came to Field 9 years ago; through being a room parent, co-chairing the Service Committee, decorating PTO bulletin boards, volunteering to coach Follies, participating in VShow, hosting tables at the Cultural Fair, helping with 5th grade Promotion parties, and probably more activities that I'm forgetting about over the years. I am excited to be able to put my experiences at Field to use while serving on the PTO board.

I am honored to support your students and the Field School teachers, administrators, and staff this year through the PTO. Our family has been a member of the Field School community since 2011 when our oldest son started kindergarten. He’s now a sophomore at Maine South, our middle son is an 8th grader at Emerson and our youngest son is a Field School third grader. We’ve lived in Niles since 2003 and my husband, Matt, attended our awesome District 64 and 207 schools.

I’ve worked in the association/non-profit industry for about 25 years, currently overseeing member recruitment, engagement and volunteer areas, corporate engagement and diversity, equity and inclusion programs at a professional society. Over the past 10 years, I’ve also had the opportunity to volunteer in various roles in support of the Field School PTO. I have found the experiences so rewarding from seeing the joy on the kids’ faces during holiday parties and events, to meeting other parents and participating in the VShow. Looking forward to the 2021-2022 school year!

It is such a great pleasure and tremendous honor to serve on the Field PTO Executive Board as Vice President.  My husband, Jay (a lifelong Niles resident), and I feel incredibly blessed to be part of the Field community through our daughter, Jayme Renae, currently in second grade (‘21-‘22).  As soon as she started preschool, I knew early on how my involvement as a parent is highly crucial toward her overall educational experience, thus began volunteering as a Room Parent.  From helping host or coordinate fun classroom parties to serving as a liaison between the parents, teachers, and administration, I truly enjoyed the activities and wanted to further contribute at a higher level and reach a broader scope.  Both Kristin (one of our Co-Secretaries) and I are Co-Leaders of Field’s Girl Scouts Brownie troop of second graders as well.

Born and raised in the Philippines, I moved to the US over 15 years ago and have been blessed with opportunities to work in various roles and industries — from being a flight attendant to an Executive Assistant and now as Senior Director for an international medical association.  My family and I love to travel, watch movies, try new restaurants, and spend an exorbitant amount of time with a group of 20 of our closest family and friends every chance possible.

I am excited to be joining the PTO Executive Board this year.  My husband John and I have two daughters at Field, a second grader and a kindergartener.  When I’m not running around the playground with my kids or walking our energetic puppy around our neighborhood, I work as an attorney in the commercial real estate space.  I first became part of the Field School community as a student many years ago, and I’m happy to be back as a parent and a member of this dedicated and talented group.  My prior experience with the PTO includes serving as a room mom, helping to coach Field Follies, singing off-key in V Show, and participating in Trunk or Treat.  I also help to lead the second grade Brownie troop.

I am so very excited to be a part of the PTO Executive Board for my one more year in this position.  I think we have a great group of people serving on this year's board and I can't wait to see what we can do to bring many fun activities back to Field after such a crazy year.   I have a 5th grader and a 2nd grader this year.  I am an elementary school teacher and love that in my personal life I get to support the amazing teachers at Field with the work the PTO does, while also building the connections between home and school.  I've been involved in the PTO by being a room mom, volunteering at pizza day, chairing Screen Free Week, and helping with committees for awesome events like Discovery Day, Spring Carnival and the Walk-a-thon.

Our family is new to Field, with a 1st grader who survived pandemic kindergarten and a daughter in Jefferson’s preschool program.  Pandemic kindergarten was an unusual experience.  My son learned and made connections with his teacher and classmates, but there wasn’t quite the opportunity to connect to the school as parents.  That’s why I wanted to join the Board and I’m excited to be part of it and to learn more about the Field community.

We’ve only lived in Park Ridge for 4 years, after 11 years in Portage Park, and definitely still feel like newbies!  I work full-time evaluating Federal health and human services programs and have been involved with several nonprofit Boards/organizations previously.  My husband and I love to travel (with and without kids!), I’m an avid reader, and I never say no to an evening out with friends.
